Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga is perhaps one of the most misunderstood styles in the world of yoga, although many other styles are influenced by it.
In this workshop, we first understand the context in which the Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga method was born.
Next, we look at the essentials that make it distinct and extremely internal.
This is not a workshop that just goes through the basics that everyone is familiar with. It is about seeing the practice from a new angle.
Our intention during this workshop is to create a perspective and understanding of the practice that allows us to appreciate it.
The practice is generally misunderstood by people who have not practiced it, but also by people who already practice it.
When we use the term practice, we do not mean going to a primary series tutorial and thinking that one has experienced it.
Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga is more than doing the postures in a particular sequence.
This workshop is aimed at any beginner who wishes to deepen their understanding of the method and start the practice safely. If you have already started your practice, this can be a good opportunity to review the basics of the Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga method and go through the basics in more detail in order to grasp all aspects.
