Classes, courses & workshops

Once payments have been received, they are neither refundable nor transferable.
Subscriptions that can be paid in monthly installments must be paid in full, even if the student stops attending classes before the end of the subscription.
It is the student's responsibility to attend paid sessions.
We require a medical certificate if you wish to freeze your classes or subscription for medical reasons.
Ashtanga Yoga Lausanne (AYL) will give a minimum of 2 months' notice of rate increases.
We accept no responsibility for lost, stolen or damaged goods. Please take care of your belongings.
Please be aware of the times we are closed. You will be made aware of these dates near the relevant times.

Due to teacher cancellations, insufficient bookings or other situations beyond our control, some courses may be temporarily or permanently unavailable. We reserve the right to make changes to our program, courses or teachers. Alternative arrangements are offered to the best of our ability, but if they are not made, we accept no responsibility for any costs incurred, including travel expenses or changes to our program, courses or teachers.

We ask that you tell the teacher if you have any particular pre-existing injury or illness that is relevant. We advise you to stop and rest if you experience pain or illness during a class.

Cancellation of classes or subscriptions

Payment for classes or subscriptions is non-refundable and must be used within the allotted time. In special circumstances, we may offset classes against future sessions. These circumstances require the production of a verified doctor's/therapist's certificate. Failure to do so will invalidate the package purchased. It is your responsibility to ensure that you are able to attend within the allotted time.

As far as vacations are concerned, we do not freeze cards and unlimited courses.

Introductory courses 1, 2 and 3

Payment must be made in cash on the first day of the course. When paying for a course package, the package is non-refundable. In special circumstances, we may offset courses against future sessions. These circumstances require the production of a verified doctor's/therapist's certificate.

Private or semi-private lessons

Private or semi-private lessons must be paid for in cash on the day of the lesson. The time and date of the class must be arranged by the participant with the teacher and, once agreed, must be respected. We require 24 hours' notice of any changes to be made, or the full course fee will be applied as a cancellation charge.

Workshop cancellation

We will provide a full refund to those who cancel 28 days before the start of the workshop. After this time, there will be no refund unless we can replace your place from a waiting list, in which case your fees will be refunded (less a 10% administration fee). In the event of cancellation of the event by us, you will be offered a refund or a credit against future events organized by AYL. Please attend all sessions scheduled for a workshop; they are presented in such a way as to give you the optimum experience of the workshop's teachings.
