À Propos / About

Many practitioners collapse in forward flexion, and try to insist on stretching the hamstring.

Or during extensions, the ribs come out and cause intervertebral compression in the lower back.

Some people think that if they don't have that stretch in the hamstrings, or the intervertebral pressure in the lower back, they have to push themselves to feel it or they won't get any benefit - this is not true.

Normally, we place considerable emphasis on backward arching of the spine, but curvature or rounding of the spine in forward flexion is also necessary to maintain flexibility of the entire spine.  The free movement of the spine forward and backward is very helpful when practicing postures that require fine control of the spine.

Why does flexion help you understand and train extension?

This workshop will teach you how to distribute commitment evenly and connect it justly and harmoniously, rather than stretching/emotionally, and release excess unnecessary effort in a much healthier way, thus opening a door to the infinite possibility of inner transformation.

This workshop is for those who wish to deepen their practice.

Beginners welcome.

In French & English if necessary.
